My mother gave me my first camera in 1983. I can’t remember the name of the camera, only that it was long and flat and took 120 film. I would save my allowance and purchase film about once a month. The camera stayed with me until I lost it in a move the next year, I still have some of the horrid childhood pictures. More recently I rediscovered my love for film and photography after taking my upgraded film camera (Cannon Rebel 2000) to a friends wedding. I didn’t try to take good pictures, I just took the pictures that made me the happiest. The groom who had taken many years of photography himself gave me huge compliment on the pictures that I took. My passion had been rediscovered. A good portion of the pictures on the gallery were taken with a simple point and shoot camera using a floor lamp as lighting. Some of the others are my first foray into more complex lighting and using my even more upgraded Sony Alpha A100.
In March of 2007 I had my first art show of my photography at “Into the Bean” Coffee house. Recently I was chosen as one of the staff photographers for Phoenix Comicon 2009. In December of 2009 I was the primary and only photography for the Evolution of Psychotherapy conference held by the Milton H Erickson Foundation. In May of 2010 I was chosen again to be a Staff photographer for Phoenix Comicon. Currently I will be working on my own portrait and boudoir photography as well as working in a corporate photography job part time.
